Infamous - 70. Occasionally funny and engaging. Out of its depth when wrestling with BIG QUESTIONS.
Flags of Our Fathers - 45. Excessive Absence. (Mine. From the theater after the 90 minute mark.)
Marie Antoinette - 70. Occasionally funny and engaging. Out of its depth when wrestling with BIG QUESTIONS.
Running With Scissors 75. Fairly good screen translation. Excellent Bening, insufficient Baldwin.
Thanks for these succinxt reviews. Did you see Shortbus, yet? It was actually kinda sweet. And the music was great.
I love Helen Mirren, and I’d love to see that film.
Unfortunately, it’s not for my ten-year-old, who makes the movie picks around here. However, I put my foot down when she demanded to see Santa Clause 3.
She’s gonna have to wait till it comes on cable. Then, I’ll be watching Helen Mirren and everyone will be happy.
