I started this blog in 2006, and wrote about movies (mostly) for a little more than a year. Then I took time off to write a novel and start a business, which I blogged about along the way here. I sometimes take pictures of shop windows and upload them to tumblr.
Now I am on hiatus (mostly) from my small business.
All along I have been teaching Spanish, living in Brooklyn, and trying very hard not to spend all my time baking.
Fun fact: I am a trilingual dual citizen.
Other fact: I will be 40 on a Friday in 2013. I am trying to embrace this relatively meaningless milestone as a chance to reflect on what I’ve accomplished thus far, think about what else I’d like to do, and work towards that.
I like the book by Julia Cameron The Artist’s Way and I am writing a bit about my experience working with it.
All the while trying not to have a panic attack.
