How the day began: I caught a kid drinking (rum? whiskey? something brown) in my class at 9. He eventually (after hiding, denying, accusing me of making things up) got arrested.
That class is now pretty well off the rails.
Then, someone from the Region wanted to (today for the first time and then twice a week for the rest of my life) observe my ESL class. Not my license area. I am teaching the class as a favor and was PROMISED I would not have to work with crazies from the Region.
Then, there was a fight in my fifth period class.
On the way home, I truly thought I might have a stroke.
Forget global warming. We will be brought down by the teens.
I taught a couple special ed classes about pregnancy and birth control today. What a hoot. I feel your pain.
Aren’t they still doing forced sterilization with those kids?
You think you’ve got it bad with a kid drinking in class? HA! Try working with 59 women!
